Donorojo Community Leaders Invited to Spread the Values of the 4 Pillars of Nationality
Jepara - Religious leaders, community figures, and various elements of Donorojo Subdistrict society attended the Socialization of the Four Pillars of Nationality by the MPR RI, held at Restoran Sim 5, Keling Subdistrict, Jepara Regency, on Saturday (20/6/2026).
The event was part of the efforts by the Deputy Speaker of the MPR RI to strengthen public understanding of the national values contained in the Four Pillars of the MPR RI: Pancasila, the 1945 Constitution (UUD 1945), the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI), and Bhinneka Tunggal Ika (Unity in Diversity).
On that occasion, Murdianto, as the representative of Lestari Moerdijat in Jepara Regency, stated that the attending community leaders were selected because they were considered to already have a good understanding of the Pancasila ideology and national insight.
He said these figures are expected to serve as an extension of outreach, disseminating national values to the people in their respective communities.
“In this socialization of the Four Pillars of Nationality, we invited community leaders because they already understand the Pancasila ideology and are expected to act as bridges to convey information to the wider public, especially in the Donorojo area,” said Murdianto.
He explained that strengthening understanding of the Four Pillars of Nationality is very important amid the various social challenges facing the nation. Therefore, the public needs to be continually reminded of the importance of maintaining unity and integrity in national and state life.
Murdianto also called on all participants to continue practicing the values of Pancasila, upholding the 1945 Constitution, safeguarding the integrity of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI), and respecting diversity in the spirit of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika.
According to him, the routine socialization carried out by the MPR RI is one of the strategic steps to strengthen national commitment within society.
He noted that the impact of political dynamics in recent years has left behind polarization in society. Issues of ethnicity, religion, race, and inter-group relations (SARA) are often exploited to divide national unity.
“It is important for us to continue conducting socialization of the Four Pillars of Nationality. We do not want society to be divided by ethnic or religious issues. Through this activity, we hope the public will better understand the importance of unity and can work together to maintain the integrity of the nation,” he said.
Meanwhile, participants consisting of religious leaders, community figures, and representatives from various elements of Donorojo residents attended the event enthusiastically. They discussed the implementation of national values in everyday life, from the family environment to community life.
Through this activity, initiated by MPR RI Deputy Speaker Lestari Moerdijat, it is hoped that the participants can become unifying agents in society and play an active role in instilling the values of Pancasila, the 1945 Constitution, NKRI, and Bhinneka Tunggal Ika to the younger generation and the wider public.
In this way, the spirit of unity and mutual cooperation that forms the foundation of the Indonesian nation can continue to be preserved amid the diversity of its people.
